I’ve always wanted to use my resources to help people in fulfilling dreams. Big or small it all counts.
Every day we face challenges. Sometimes it’s one of those things that “won’t happen to me,” that happens to other people.” And yes, I’ve had my share of the good, the bad and the ugly. Pimples and braces to widowed and pregnant and lots of bumps along the way.
One of the most traumatic was when my husband died and I was pregnant with our second child. I never really considered being widowed. But there I was, a widow. In my early 30’s I learned so much so quick. If I wanted to start fulfilling dreams, I had to find my new normal. The life that I’d planned was ripped out from under me. So much for the perfect family unit. Traveling? How could I even think about that, I just lost my life partner. I’m here to tell you it does get better. I’m living proof. You don’t have to live your life wondering “what if”.
I’ve raised two boys with the village we all talk about when we say “It takes a village.” I’ve learned about life, death and many things in between. While I’m not an expert, nor am I perfect, I am resourceful and have found out what it takes to live a happy life no matter what is thrown your way. I want to share some of the things I’ve learned along the way and the things I continue to learn.
